Di asked:

I have an inside fountain, it’s in my sunroom. It has started to leak and I can’t find another fountain as big, with the that I like. Is there a way I can seal the crack in it? If I seal it do I also have to paint it? It is gray right now.
The fountain is made of concrete that is why I asked how to seal concre.te

You can buy a pool sealer at a pool supply store. What ever you use make sure it is designed to be submerged. Many sealers will fail if they are below water.

You can seal the crack with a number of products. You didn’t say what the fountain was made of, so it’s hard to be too specific. Polyseamseal is a good sealant that will work with most materials. It’s paintable also. If the fountain is made of concrete, you can use a product called “hydraulic cement” that’s sold under several different brand names. It’s designed to patch leaks in concrete.

Painting the repaired fountain is optional, and again is based upon what the fountain is made of.
